Southern Methodist
The Mustangs are 5-2 ATS in their last seven home games. Southern Methodist is 4-9-1 ATS in the last 14 meetings.
Prediction:
Southern Methodist is good defensively, but really struggles on offensive and that doesn’t look promising against a Houston squad that is 16th nationally in adjusted defensive efficiency. The Cougars won by 13 last season at SMU and doesn’t seem to be fazed by its loss considering the strong performance against Wichita State. Go with Houston here.
