Panthers struggle early against Richmond
High Point fell behind early last Saturday in what ended as a 74-59 loss at the Spiders. The Panthers (6-6) trailed 39-25 at halftime en route to the defeat. Jahaad Proctor was the lone High Point player in double figures for scoring as he finished with 23 points on 8-of-21 shooting including 1-of-7 from 3-point range plus 6-of-7 at the free throw line. He also contributed four rebounds and two assists. As a team, the Panthers shot 22-of-50 from the floor and 3-of 16 from 3-point distance along with 12-of-23 at the free throw line.
Buckeyes win fifth straight

Jackson paced OSU with 22 points on 7-of-16 shooting including 3-of-7 from 3-point range and 5-of-5 at the charity stripe. He also tallied seven rebounds and six assists. Kaleb Wesson chipped in with 15 points, 12 boards and two dimes. Kyle Young added 11 points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals off the bench. College Basketball Betting Trends
The Panthers are 2-7 ATS in their last eight Saturday games. High Point is 11-25 ATS in its last 36 games overall.
The Buckeyes are 9-19 ATS in their last 28 Saturday games. Ohio State is 1-5 ATS in its last six games versus the Big South.
Ohio State is likely going to be too much for the Panthers to handle as a poor shooting performance at Richmond probably won’t get any better with a tougher opponent today. Look for the Buckeyes to jump out early and race out to a big win as they prepare to get back into the thick of the Big Ten schedule.
