West Region Odds
(TheSpread) – The West Region of the 2012 NCAA Tournament features a Final Four regular and plenty of contenders. Here is a look at the odds to win the west.

According to oddsmakers, Michigan State is the favorite in this region, with 9/5 odds to win. Other short odds to win are Missouri (11/5), Marquette (5/1), and Louisville (5/1).
Michigan State is the No. 1 seed in the region. The Spartans were 27-7 this season and they won a share of the Big Ten regular season title while winning the Big Ten Tournament. MSU has been to eight Final Fours, the last of which came in 2010. MSU has reached six Final Fours since 1999.
Missouri was 30-4 this season and is the No. 2 seed in the region. The Tigers won the Big 12 Tournament this last weekend. The Tigers have never reached a Final Four and last played in a regional championship game in 2009.
Marquette is the No. 3 seed and the Golden Eagles were 25-7 on the season out of the Big East. The Golden Eagles have reached three Final Fours in program history. Their last appearance in a Final Four was 2003.
Louisville also comes from the Big East. The Cardinals are the No. 4 seed in the region as they are 26-9 on the season and they were Big East Tournament champs. Louisville has won the regional title eight times in program history. Their last title came in 2005.
