Thursday’s March Madness Odds
(TheSpread) – The 2012 NCAA Tournament goes into full swing on Thursday, with 16 games on the schedule. Here is a look at the odds for each of the games taking place.

One of the featured games on the day has 9th-seeded Connecticut taking on 8th-seeded Iowa State at 9:20PM ET (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers, the Huskies are actually the favorite in this one, with a point spread of -2 against the Cyclones. The over/under total for the game has been set at 136 points. Connecticut is 20-13 overall out of the Big East and the Huskies are 4-2 on a neutral floor. Iowa State came out of the Big 12 with a 22-10 overall record and a 2-1 mark at a neutral site. Connecticut is 13-15-1 against the spread this season while Iowa State is 18-9-1 ATS. Connecticut has covered the spread in its last four while Iowa State has in five of its last six games.
Another game of interest has No. 7 Gonzaga taking on No. 10 West Virginia at 7:20PM ET (View Matchup). Oddsmakers have Gonzaga as just a 1-point favorite against WVU, while the over/under total has been set at 133 points. Gonzaga is 25-6 overall out of the West Coast Conference and 4-1 on a neutral floor while West Virginia is 19-13 overall out of the Big East and 3-1 on a neutral floor. WVU is 15-14 against the spread this season while Gonzaga is 13-16-1 ATS. The Bulldogs have covered the spread in just one if its last four while The Mountaineers are 3-7 ATS in their last 10.
