(TheSpread) – Perhaps the most competitive of all of the regions in March Madness is the Midwest Region. Here is a look at the odds to win this bracket.

According to oddsmakers, North Carolina is the favorite to win this region with 5/4 odds. Other short odds to win are Kansas (7/4), Georgetown (8/1), and Michigan (15/1).

North Carolina is the No. 1 seed in this region. The Tar Heels were 29-4 overall this season and won the ACC regular season title. UNC has won 18 regional titles in program history. The Tar Heels last advanced to the Final Four in 2009.

Kansas is the No. 2 seed in this region with a 27-6 overall record. The Jayhawks won the Big 12 regular season title. The Jayhawks have reached the Final Four 13 times in program history, the last of which came in 2008.

Georgetown is the No. 3 seed in the Midwest. The Hoyas were 23-8 in the Big East this season. Georgetown has reached the Final Four five times in its history, the last time coming in 2007.

Michigan is the No. 4 seed in this region. The Wolverines were 24-9 this season and they won a share of the Big Ten regular season title. Michigan has been to the Final Four six times, the last of which came in 1993. However, those wins were later forfeited.
