East Region Updated Odds
NEWARK, NJ (TheSpread) – The East Region is down to its final four teams and they will square off from the Prudential Center in New Jersey this weekend. Here is an updated look at the odds for this region.

The East was pretty true to form with three of the top four seeds still alive. No. 1 overall seed, Ohio State, is still the favorite to reach the Final Four based on the remaining field.
The Buckeyes enter with odds of 2/3 according to oddsmakers from online sportsbook Sportsbook.com. Other odds to win the East are North Carolina (11/4), Kentucky (15/4), and Marquette (11/1).
The Buckeyes got past UTSA and George Mason in their first two games. They won the contests by a combined 61 points and will now face off with Kentucky in the regional semifinal.
North Carolina is the No. 2 seed in the region having beaten Long Island and Washington in its first two games. The Tar Heels held off the Huskies for an 86-83 win and will now face Marquette on Friday night.
Kentucky slipped past Princeton 59-57 on Thursday and then defeated West Virginia 71-63 on Saturday to reach the semifinals. The Wildcats are the No. 4 seed in the region.
Marquette is the surprise team entering this region as the Eagles are the No. 11 seed. They defeated Xavier 66-55 in their opener and then defeated Syracuse 66-62 on Sunday to break into the Sweet Sixteen.
