Conference USA Tourny Odds
EL PASO, TX (TheSpread) – The 2011 Conference USA Tournament begins play on Wednesday from the Don Haskins Center and features some solid mid-major programs.

The 12-team tournament features four opening round games with the winners advancing to the quarterfinals against the top four teams in the conference. The title game will be on Saturday.
UTEP enters the tournament as the favorite according to oddsmakers from online sportsbook SBGGLOBAL.com as it has 3/2 odds to win. Other short odds to win are UAB (11/5), Memphis (4/1), and Tulsa (4/1).
UAB won the regular season title with a 12-4 conference record. The Blazers went 22-7 overall. UAB has never won this conference tournament
UTEP and Tulsa each went 11-5 in conference play. Tulsa is the No. 2 seed while UTEP is the third seed. The Miners went 23-8 this season while Tulsa is 18-12 overall. Neither team has won the conference tournament.
Memphis went 9-7 in conference play and 22-9 overall. Memphis is the fourth seed in the tournament. Memphis has four tournament championships, which is the most of any current school in the conference.
