Spurs haven’t been great bet vs. Mavs
The best bet in basketball will be in action tonight when the Spurs visit the Mavericks at 9:30PM ET on ESPN.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, San Antonio is a 6.5-point road favorite versus Dallas tonight while the total is sitting at 197 points. The Spurs enter play with a 41-8 record and are 32-17 against the spread, while the Mavs are 28-24 overall and 29-22-1 at the betting window.
That 32-17 mark against the spread is the best ATS record in the NBA this season, as the Spurs are covering at a 65.3% clip. The Spurs and the Warriors are the only teams in the league with a cover percentage of over 60.0%, although the Mavericks have the third-best ATS record at 29-22-1 (56.9%).
The Spurs haven’t been a great bet in this series, however. They’re 4-9 against the spread in their last 13 games versus the Mavericks and have failed to cover in four of their last five trips to Dallas. The underdog is also a healthy 12-3 against the number in the last 15 meetings between these two teams and the under is a perfect 6-0 in the last six meetings.
