Kings vs. Timberwolves Prediction

The Timberwolves will look to hand the Kings their ninth loss in their last 11 games when the two teams meet tonight at 8:00PM ET.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Minnesota is a 2.5-point home favorite to knock off Sacramento tonight, while the over/under currently sits at 223.5 for tonight’s game.

Bet Tonight’s Kings vs. Timberwolves Matchup

The Kings enter play with a 2-8 record over their last 10 games and are 4-5-1 at the betting window during that stretch. The Timberwolves have dropped seven of 10 themselves, but are a profitable 6-4 against the spread during those 10 games. Sacramento is 18-17 ATS on the road this season while Minnesota is a brutal 12-21 against the number at home.

Despite the Timberwolves’ lack of success at home, they should pick up a rare win tonight against a Kings team that struggles against bad opponents. Sacramento is just 8-21-2 against the spread in its last 31 games versus a team with a winning percentage below .400. They’ve also struggled to cover coming off losses, posting a 7-18-1 ATS record in their last 26 games following a loss.

The T-Wolves boast a youthful nucleus that features Andrew Wiggins, Zach LaVine and rookie Karl-Anthony Towns. Even though the team is struggling, Minnesota is building something for the future. They’ve also covered in four of their last five games and are 9-4 against the spread in their last 13 home games despite owning a losing record overall at home this season. They’re 4-0 against the spread in their last four games versus the Kings as well.
