Will the Hornets snap their current five-game losing streak when they host the Trail Blazers tonight at 7:00PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Hornets are 4.5-point favorites versus the Blazers while the over/under is currently sitting at 215.5 points. Charlotte opened as a 6-point favorite but the number was bet down, while the total hit the board at 218 before being bet down as well.
The Blazers were routed 120-101 on Monday afternoon in Washington. Damian Lillard scored 22 points with seven rebounds, three assists, one block and four 3-pointers in the loss, while C.J. McCollum added 12 points with two rebounds, two assists, one block, two steals and one 3-pointers in 23 minutes. On an injury note, Ed Davis has been ruled out for tonight’s game due to a sprained left ankle.
Jeremy Lamb has also been ruled out for tonight’s game for the Hornets due to a foot injury. Nicolas Batum, meanwhile, scored eight points with 10 rebounds, 10 assists, a steal and two blocks in Monday’s 108-98 loss to the Celtics while Cody Zeller hit 5-of-7 shots and 3-of-4 free throws for 13 points, eight rebounds, two assists and a blocked shot.

The Trail Blazers are just 6-13 against the spread in their last 19 road games, are 2-5 against the number in their last seven conference games, and are 2-6 at the betting window in their last eight road games versus an opponent with a winning home record. As for the Hornets, despite the losing streak they’re still 5-2 against the spread in their last seven home games and are 8-1 ATS in their last nine games played on Wednesday.
