Will the Hornets snap their current five-game losing streak when they host the Trail Blazers tonight at 7:00PM ET?

According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Hornets are 4.5-point favorites versus the Blazers while the over/under is currently sitting at 215.5 points. Charlotte opened as a 6-point favorite but the number was bet down, while the total hit the board at 218 before being bet down as well.

Bet Tonight’s NBA Action

The Blazers were routed 120-101 on Monday afternoon in Washington. Damian Lillard scored 22 points with seven rebounds, three assists, one block and four 3-pointers in the loss, while C.J. McCollum added 12 points with two rebounds, two assists, one block, two steals and one 3-pointers in 23 minutes. On an injury note, Ed Davis has been ruled out for tonight’s game due to a sprained left ankle.

Jeremy Lamb has also been ruled out for tonight’s game for the Hornets due to a foot injury. Nicolas Batum, meanwhile, scored eight points with 10 rebounds, 10 assists, a steal and two blocks in Monday’s 108-98 loss to the Celtics while Cody Zeller hit 5-of-7 shots and 3-of-4 free throws for 13 points, eight rebounds, two assists and a blocked shot.

OUR PREDICTION: The Hornets should snap their losing streak tonight. The Trail Blazers are just 6-13 against the spread in their last 19 road games, are 2-5 against the number in their last seven conference games, and are 2-6 at the betting window in their last eight road games versus an opponent with a winning home record. As for the Hornets, despite the losing streak they’re still 5-2 against the spread in their last seven home games and are 8-1 ATS in their last nine games played on Wednesday.
