(TheSpread) – The 2011 NBA Playoffs are set to get started on Saturday and the Big Three have positioned Miami to be the favorites in the Eastern Conference.

The Heat are the favorites to win the Heat according to oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com as they have 3/2 odds to win the conference. Other short odds to win are Chicago (2/1), Boston (5/2), and Orlando (8/1).

The Heat have won one conference title in franchise history, which came in 2006. Miami is the No. 2 seed in the East as they won the Southeast Division with a 58-24 record. The Heat were 30-11 at home and 28-13 on the road. They were also 38-14 against conference opponents.

The Bulls last won the conference title in 1998. They have six as a franchise. Chicago is the top overall seed in the playoffs with a 62-20 record, which won the Central Division. The Bulls were 36-5 at home and 26-15 on the road. They had the top record against East opponents at 39-13.

Boston owns 21 conference championships and is the defending Eastern Conference champion. The Celtics are 56-26 this season, which was good enough to win the Atlantic Division and earn the third seed. The Celtics were 33-8 at home, 23-18 on the road, and 37-15 against conference opponents.

Orlando is a two-time conference champion. The last title came in 2009. The Magic finished second in the Southeast and are the 4th seed with a 52-30 record. The Magic are 29-12 at home, 23-18 on the road, and 36-16 against conference opponents.
