Friday’s game was an offensive showcase as the D-backs prevailed 13-11. Chris Iannetta was 3-for-4 with two home runs, a walk and eight RBIs. He becomes only the second catcher in MLB history with two games in the same season with seven or more RBIs. David Peralta went 2-for-5 with a double, two runs and an RBI. Bet on Marlins vs. Diamondbacks
The Diamondbacks have scored a combined 26 runs the last two games, scoring 13 in the series finale at San Diego before doing the same last night. Peters appears to have a bright future, but the Brewers recently knocked his confidence down and now he faces a juggernaut lineup in a hitter’s haven. And Walker has certainly not been flawless as he heads into this start against a lineup boasting Gordon at the top followed by a bunch of sluggers. Now isn’t the time to go away from a pair of hot offenses.
