Philadelphia Phillies DFS SPIN
J.T. Realmuto went 2-for-5 with an inside-the-park home run and two RBI on Saturday in the Phillies’ NLDS Game 4 victory over the Braves. Realmuto walloped the first inside-the-park home run by a catcher in postseason history against Braves reliever Collin McHugh in the third inning to increase the Phillies’ early lead to four runs at the time. He also plated a key insurance run with a sixth-inning RBI infield single against reliever Raisel Iglesias. The Phillies advance to take on either the Padres or Dodgers in the NLCS next week.
San Diego Padres DFS SPIN
Padres manager Bob Melvin confirmed Sunday that Yu Darvish will start Game 1 of the NLCS against the Phillies on Tuesday night in San Diego. Darvish would have pitched in Game 5 of the NLDS against the Dodgers on Sunday — had it been necessary. The 36-year-old hurler has been victorious in each of his first two starts this postseason, registering a 3.00 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 11/2 K/BB ratio across 12 innings. Blake Snell had followed Darvish previously in the Padres playoff rotation and is likely to get the ball in Game 2, though that has yet to be confirmed.

Phillies vs. Padres MLB BETTING PREDICTION
Even though the Phillies have dominated the Padres in San Diego, I’m still backing Darvish and the home team tonight. The Padres have won four of their last five playoff games, are 4-1 in their last five games versus the National League East and are 18-3 in their last 21 games following an off day. San Diego is also 5-2 in its last seven games versus a right-handed starter, is 7-3 in its last 10 games when its opponent scored five runs or more in its last previous game and is 13-6 in its last 19 games after scoring five runs or more in its previous contest.
