Baltimore Orioles DFS SPIN
Adley Rutschman went 3-for-4 with a pair of runs scored in a lopsided victory over the Yankees on Sunday night. The 25-year-old backstop functioned as the O’s leadoff hitter in this one and did a tremendous job as a table-setter — reaching safely in four of his five plate appearances. He led off the home half of the first with a single off of Luis Severino and scored the game’s first run on an RBI double by Anthony Santander. He also smacked an RBI single later in the inning to cap off the seven-run rally. With his three-hit attack, Rutschman is now slashing a terrific .272/.374/.427 with 14 homers and 47 RBI on the season
Toronto Blue Jays DFS SPIN
Daulton Varsho went 2-for-4 with a run scored as the Blue Jays lost to the Angels on Sunday. Varsho roped two doubles against lefty starter Tyler Anderson on Sunday, but it was all for naught as the Blue Jays lost 3-2 to the Angels in extra innings. The 27-year-old has vastly underperformed expectations this season, slashing .214/.276/.358, and will likely fall in drafts next year, not only because of his production at the plate, but he will likely lose catcher eligibility after the season as well.
