Joey Meneses came up just short of making it four straight games with a homer Saturday, finishing 1-for-4 with a sac fly versus the Cardinals. Nationals vs. Cardinals MLB BETTING PREDICTION
The price of the Cardinals is too steep and while the Nationals are an intriguing play as an underdog thanks to Gray, I see the over being the better bet. Gray and Flaherty are boom or bust starters, capable of pitching well for 5-6 innings, or they could both be out by the fourth. Either way, both of these teams have struggling bullpens and with the offensive firepower that has been on display in this series, I see the over as the safest bet on the board this afternoon.
