From Rotoworld: Hernandez allowed four earned runs, four hits and two walks with four strikeouts across 5 2/3 innings in a no-decision Tuesday against the Red Sox. King Felix has had a problem with Sox since his return from the 10-day disabled list. He pitched just five innings in Chicago on July 15, and 5 2/3 against Boston on Tuesday. He has lasted at least six innings in his other five outings against all other teams since coming off the DL. Hernandez will look to go deeper into the game in his next scheduled start Monday in Texas.
Hamels picked up his fifth victory of the season on Tuesday despite allowing four runs on six hits over six innings against the Marlins. Hamels struck out five on the night while walking just one. The Rangers staked him to an early lead and all he had to do was make sure the train didn’t come off the tracks. He’ll carry a 3.97 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 41/22 K/BB into Sunday’s matchup against the Orioles.
