Nats, Marlins back at work after postponement
Now that the nation’s capital no longer resembles a disaster-movie set, Washington and Miami can resume business as usual.
The Nats’ tilt against the Marlins on Saturday was postponed due to unseasonably cold weather and rescheduled as part of a split doubleheader on May 14. Thus, an abbreviated series comes to a conclusion this afternoon.
Online sports book BetDSI likes the host team as a 1.5-run favorite beginning at 1:35 p.m. ET. As for the over/under figure, it rests at eight runs.
Twenty-four hours ago, these two clubs faced the prospect of snow on the ground and a wind chill in the upper 20s. Neither Joe Ross nor Tom Koehler began to warm up before the game was called, though, so they’ll still lock horns on the mound.
