New York Mets DFS SPIN
Brandon Nimmo (quad) remained out of the lineup for the Mets’ matchup against the Royals on Thursday. This is the third straight game Nimmo will miss with his quad issue. Although, the team continues to call him day-to-day, there is some concern they will decide to be cautious and put him on the IL with nothing much to play for this season. The 30-year-old is hitting .256/.353/.431 on the season with 15 home runs and 61 runs scored in 103 games. Rafael Ortega will make his third straight start in Nimmo’s place while Jonathan Arauz starts at 2B with Jeff McNeil moving to the outfield.
Baltimore Orioles DFS SPIN
Austin Hays finished 4-for-5 with a double and two RBI against the Blue Jays on Thursday. The slumping Hays came into this one 1-for-21 in his previous seven games and batting .179/.225/.241 in his previous 31 games. Hopefully, he’s coming out of it now, or someday people are going to wonder how he ended up starting for the AL in the 2023 All-Star Game.

Mets vs. Orioles MLB BETTING PREDICTION
Peterson is 3-7 with a 5.92 ERA and hasn’t gone more than two innings in any of his last six appearances, when he was moved to the bullpen. With the trades of Max Scherzer and Justin Verlander, Peterson rejoins the starting rotation out of necessity as opposed to merit. In his 11 starts this season, he’s 2-7 with a 6.46 ERA. On the other side, Kremer is 10-4 with a 4.66 ERA and while his performances have been inconsistent, the Orioles are 16-6 in games that he has started, including 5-0 in July. Give me the Orioles.
