Dodgers vs. Reds Prediction

After getting smoked by the Reds last night, will the Dodgers rebound with a victory tonight at 7:10PM ET in Cincinnati?

According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Dodgers are -160 money line favorites versus the Reds, who have odds of +145 to pull off the upset tonight at home. With Brett Anderson set to face Brandon Finnegan in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 9.5 runs.

Bet Tonight’s Dodgers vs. Reds Game

LOS ANGELES: The Dodgers are 9-3 in their last 12 games coming off a loss, so they’ve been a solid bet in rebound situations. That said, they’re just 3-7 in their last 10 road games versus a left-handed starter and are 2-5 in their last seven road games versus a team with a losing record.

CINCINNATI: The Reds are hot. They’ve won four straight overall, are 4-1 in their last five games versus National League West opponents, and are 4-1 in their last five games coming off a win. They’re also 5-2 in their last seven home games versus a team that owns a losing road record coming into the game.

OUR PICK: The Dodgers are just 2-7 in Anderson’s last nine starts when he pitches the second game of a series and have dropped five of his last six starts overall. The Reds, meanwhile, are 5-2 in Finnegan’s last seven starts and are 6-1 in his last seven outings when he pitches the second game of a series. The Dodgers might be headed for a bit of a slump and with how well the Reds are playing at the moment, they’re worth a flier as an underdog.
