The Giants entered the eighth inning trailing 4-2, but things got interesting as Joc Pederson reached on an error and J.D. Davis drew a one-out walk. That’s where the rookie backstop launched a David Robertson knuckle curve for a 432-foot (107.3 mph EV) three-run blast that proved to be the difference in the ballgame. New York Mets DFS SPIN
Tommy Pham went 3-for-4 with a home run and two runs scored on Friday night, but it wouldn’t be enough to lead the Mets past the Giants. Pham reached on an infield single to begin the second inning, then came around to score on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Omar Narvaez. He then blasted a 411-foot solo shot off of Taylor Rogers in the sixth inning that increased the Mets’ lead to 4-2. That would be the extent of their offense. With his three-hit night, the 35-year-old outfielder is now hitting .284/.352/.511 with nine long balls and 32 RBI on the season.
