D.J. LeMahieu went 2-for-6 on Wednesday against the Orioles. LeMahieu knocked two base hits on the day to bring his early season average up to .280. His single off John Means in the third inning came off the bat at 108 MPH. The 32-year-old has yet to record an extra-base hit, but it's only a matter of time for the Yankee's leadoff man that put up a 1.011 OPS in 2020.

Tampa Bay Rays DFS SPIN

Manuel Margot went 1-for-5 on Tuesday against the Red Sox, including a two-run single in the third inning. The Rays ended up losing to the Red Sox in extra innings, but Margot's two-run single helped give the Rays an early lead. Margot now has five RBI in this still-young season; currently through five games, he's 6-for-18 (.333) with hits in four out of the five games he's played. With 12 steals from the shortened 2020 season, the 26-year-old is well-known for his speed, but has yet to swipe a bag in 2021. He should play plenty with Kevin Kiermaier on the shelf, making him a viable option in mixed fantasy leagues.

The Yankees are just 2-9 in their last 11 games in Tampa and are 3-10 in their last 13 games versus the Rays. They’re also 2-5 in their last seven games overall, are 2-5 in their last seven games versus American League East and are 1-6 in their last seven games when their opponent allows five runs or more in their previous game. The Rays, meanwhile, are 40-11 in their last 51 home games versus a right-handed starter and are 4-1 in their last five home games following a road trip of seven or more days.
