Women’s 200m Freestyle Odds
Can Katie Ledecky claim another gold medal at the Rio Summer Olympics when she competes in the Women’s 200-meter Freestyle?
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Ledecky is the favorite to win, as she has -170 odds. Other short odds to win are Sarah Sjostrom (+130) and Federica Pellegrini (+2200). The Rio Olympics continue today through Aug. 21 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Ledecky competes for the United States and she already won gold at these Olympics in the 400 freestyle and she also won gold at the 2012 Olympics in the 800 freestyle. She also is the 2015 World Champion in this event.
Sjostrom competes for Sweden. She has already won gold in these Olympics in the 100 butterfly. She is more of a butterfly expert than freestyle swimmer. She is the 2014 short course world champ in this distance.
Pellegrini competes for Italy. She won the silver medal in this event back in 2004 and the gold at the 2008 Olympics. She came in fifth at the 2012 Olympics. She has also finished second at the last two World Championships.
