The Knicks pegged former Phoenix Suns head coach Mike D’Antoni as head coach and signed Chris Duhon at guard.
2008-2009 Season Outlook:
The Knicks offer some talent in Duhon, David Lee, Jamal Crawford, Nate Robinson and Quentin Richardson, but everything has to come together quickly for D’Antoni. He’ll have to be a miracle worker and it would be nice if rookie small forward Danilo Gallinari develops into a key player.
The lineup has potential and if things come together, it’s not out of the question that D’Antoni can rally the troops and get this team to the postseason.
