DJ Uiagalelei completed 26-of-41 passes for 371 yards with five touchdowns. Uiagalelei added 14 carries for 52 yards in Saturdays 51-45 2OT win over Wake Forest. Uiagalelei had the best performance of his college career since 2020 when he put up over 400 yards against Notre Dame as a Freshman while filling in for an injured Trevor Lawrence. Uiagalelei spread the ball around as five different Clemson players had over 50 yards receiving and six players had three or more catches.
Boston College Eagles Game Notes
Phil Jurkovec completed 15-of-23 passes for 105 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions in Saturday’s 44-14 loss to Florida State. Jurkovec was supposed to be the missing link from last year’s team as he missed the majority of the season due to injury. So far this season he has struggled against conference opponents, completing 30-of-51 passes for just 240 yards with two touchdowns and three interception in two games.
