FSU vs. Valpo NIT Prediction
Valparaiso will have an opportunity to prove how talented of a roster it has when it takes on ACC foe Florida State in the second round of the NIT tonight at 7:00PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Crusaders are a 4-point home favorite tonight against the visiting Seminoles while the over/under is sitting at 146 points. As of this writing neither the side nor the total has moved.

This game means a lot to a Crusaders team that has had difficulty scheduling high-major teams on the road, let alone at home. This is the first time Valparaiso has hosted a team from the ACC and the last time the Crusaders played a Power 5 opponent at home was all the way back in December of 2010 when it hosted Purdue.

FSU’s three leading scorers are all guards and are all underclassmen. Dwayne Bacon and Malik Beasley are freshman, while Xavier Rathan-Mayes is a sophomore. The Seminoles have size and length, but they’ll face a more experienced Crusaders team tonight looking for a signature win for the program.
