San Diego is 2-1 on the season, 1-0 at home and 3-0 against the spread. Jacksonville is 0-3 overall, 0-2 on the road and 0-3 against the spread. San Diego has won three straight meetings with the Jags.

One issue coming into this game is injuries, as the Chargers are without both Danny Woodhead and Ryan Mathews in the backfield because of injuries. Donald Brown will now get the bulk of the carries. Philip Rivers has thrown for 778 yards and six touchdowns this season, with Antonio Gates catching 14 passes for 185 yards and three touchdowns.

The Jaguars are coming off a 44-17 loss to the Colts at home. Jacksonville is now 0-3 with all three losses being by at least 17 points. Jacksonville somehow ranks last in the NFL in both passing yards allowed (306 ypg) and rushing yards allowed (160 ypg). Blake Bortles is set to get his first start at quarterback. He has thrown for 223 yards and two touchdowns in limited action this year. Toby Gerhart has rushed for 82 yards on 34 carries while Allen Hurns has caught seven passes for 186 yards and three touchdowns.

In terms of Injuries, San Diego linebacker Manti Te’o (foot) and running back Ryan Mathews (knee) are both out. Jacksonville tight end Clay Harbor (calf) and receiver Marqise Lee (hamstring) are both questionable.
