San Diego is coming off a surprising 30-21 win at home over the Seattle Seahawks last week. The Chargers used a slow and steady offense to control the game, holding the ball for 42 minutes of play. Philip Rivers was 28 of 37 passing for 284 yards and three touchdowns while Antonio Gates caught seven passes for 96 yards and three touchdowns. Ryan Mathews was injured in the game and will be out for at least a month, which won’t help the San Diego run game.
In terms of Injuries, Buffalo tight end Lee Smith (toe) and defensive back Jonathan Meeks (neck) are questionable for the game. San Diego defensive back Jahleel Addae (hamstring) and defensive back Brandon Flowers (groin) are also questionable.
