Houston had a strong defensive showing in its win over the Redskins. They had just 321 yards of offense and allowed the Skins to pick up 372 yards, but the Houston defense had three sacks and created two turnovers. Ryan Fitzpatrick was 14 of 22 passing for 206 yards while Arian Foster rushed for 103 yards. J.J. Watt continued to disrupt everything, as he had three tackles with one sack, two tackles for loss, five quarterback hits, one pass deflection and a blocked extra point.
Oakland really struggled against the Jets on Sunday, as the Raiders had just 158 yards of offense in the loss while allowing 402 yards to the Jets. The Raiders were kept in the game by forcing two turnovers, but rookie quarterback Derek Carr struggled. He was 20 of 32 passing for 151 yards and two scores. As a team, the Raiders rushed for just 25 yards. Defensively, Oakland was led by Charles Woodson, who had nine tackles and one interception.
In terms of Injuries, Houston defensive end Jadeveon Clowney (knee) is out until mid-October while tight end Garrett Graham (back) is questionable. Oakland running back Maurice Jones-Drew (hand) and linebacker Nick Roach (concussion) are both questionable for the game.
