Johnsonville Sausage 200 Odds
ELKHART LAKE, WI (TheSpread) – The 2013 NASCAR Nationwide Series head to road course action this week for the Johnsonville Sausage 200 on Saturday. Here is a look at the odds for this race.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Nelson Piquet Jr. is the favorite to win, as he has 17/4 odds to win. Other short odds to win are Sam Hornish Jr. (5/1), A.J. Allmendinger (11/2) and Max Papis (11/2).
Piquet Jr. is the defending champion of this race and strong in road courses. Piquet Jr. is 13th in the point standings, 159 points out of first place. He is winless on the year with just one top 10.
Hornish Jr. is second in the current Nationwide standings, 58 points out of first place. He has one win and five top 5s on the years.
Allmendinger is competing in his first Nationwide event of the year, but he is a road-course specialist and currently competes in IndyCar races as well.
Papis is a road-course driver as well. He has competed in just one Nationwide race this year, placing 31st.
