Auto Club 400 Predictions
FONTANA, CA (ATS Consultants) – After Denny Hamlin claimed the pole on Friday, let’s take a look at which drivers could take home the checkered flag in today’s Auto Club 400.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Jimmie Johnson is an 11/2 favorite to win this week’s race, while Kyle Bush has the next best odds at 6/1. Both Hamlin and Matt Kenseth are 7/1, respectively, while Kasey Kahne, Carl Edwards and Brad Keselowski are all 10/1, respectively.
Busch is a former winner at this track. He finished third at ACS in 2011 and second last season. He now has 10 top-10 finishes in his last 13 starts at Fontana. He is also the youngest drive to win a Cup race at Auto Club Speedway, winning in 2005. He led 235 laps here in the last three races. It’s Kyle’s time this week.
Harvick finished in the top 10 in his last five starts at this even, winning in 20111. He has a 3.5 average finish in four starts at ACS since 2010.
Longshot
He has finished between 18th and 12th in all four races. Roush Fenway Racing has had great success here. He is very talented and could eventually be a star. Is worth the gamble.
