Kahne wins Kansas pole
KANSAS CITY, KS (TheSpread) – Kasey Kahne won the pole for the Hollywood Casino 400 on Friday. He will now start up front for Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Jimmie Johnson is now the favorite to win this race after qualifying, as he has 9/2 odds. Other short odds to win are Denny Hamlin (5/1) and Kahne (6/1).
Johnson is second in the point standings, 7 points out of first place. Johnson has three wins and 16 top 5’s this year. Johnson has two wins and five top 5’s at Kansas in his career. His average finish at this track is 7.9, while his driver rating is 120.7, which ranks tops of any driver in the series. Johnson will start seventh on Sunday.

His average finish is 14.1 at this track, while his driver rating is 89.9, which ranks 11th in the series. Hamlin qualified ninth on Friday.
