U.S. Cellular 250
NEWTON, IA (TheSpread) – The 2012 NASCAR Nationwide Series will be on its own at Iowa Speedway this Saturday for the running of the U.S. Cellular 250.
Oddsmakers have Ricky Stenhouse Jr. as the favorite in this race, as he has 2/1 odds, while Kurt Busch and Elliott Sadler each have 5/2 odds to win.
Stenhouse Jr. is the defending champion of this race, as he won it in only its third-ever running. Stenhouse is third in the point standings. He is 13 points behind Sadler. Stenhouse has three victories and 10 top 5’s on the year.
Busch has competed in 12 Nationwide races on the year. He has two wins to his credit with six top 5’s and 10 top 10’s. He does have two DNF’s on the year.
Sadler is the points lead by one point. He has managed to pick up three victories this year with seven top 5’s and 14 top 10’s.
