(TheSpread) – The 2012 Women’s NCAA Tournament gets underway on Saturday. Here is a look at who oddsmakers like to win March Madness on the women’s side.

According to oddsmakers, Baylor is the favorite to win this year’s tournament with 1/3 odds. Other short odds to win are Stanford (3/1), Notre Dame (5/1), and Connecticut (6/1).

Baylor went a perfect 34-0 this season under the leadership of center Brittney Griner. The Bears are the top seed in the Des Moines Regional and champions of the Big 12. The Bears won the NCAA Tournament back in 2005.

Stanford is the top seed in the Fresno Regional. The Cardinal was 31-1 on the season and winners of the Pac-12 Conference. Stanford has two national titles to its credit, the last coming in 1992.

Notre Dame is the top seed in the Raleigh Regional. Notre Dame is 30-3 this season and regular season champs in the Big East. The Fighting Irish won the NCAA Tournament back in 2001 and were the runner-up last year.

Connecticut is the top seed in the Kingston Regional. The Huskies were 29-4 overall this season and they won the Big East Tournament title. The Huskies have won the tournament seven times, the last time coming in 2010.
