Friday’s March Madness Odds
(TheSpread) – The 2012 NCAA Tournament completes its second round of play on Friday with 16 games. Here is a look at the odds for each contest of the day.

One of the intriguing games has No. 6 San Diego State taking on No. 11 N.C. State at 12:40PM ET (View Matchup). Oddsmakers actually see the Wolfpack as a 2.5-point favorite in this one, despite the higher seed. The over/under total for this game has been set at 137 points. N.C. State is 22-12 on the season and 4-2 on a neutral floor while San Diego State is 26-7 overall and 2-1 on a neutral floor. N.C. State is 15-14-1 against the spread this season while San Diego State is 16-14 ATS. These two teams have no recent meetings in basketball. The Aztecs are just 1-2 against the spread in their last three while the Wolfpack have covered in their last four.
Another game of interest has No. 7 Florida taking on No. 10 Virginia at 2:10PM ET (View Matchup). Oddsmakers have the Gators as a 3.5-point favorite in this one while the over/under total has been set at 122 points. Florida is 23-10 on the season and 3-1 on a neutral floor while Virginia is 22-9 overall and 2-2 on a neutral court. Virginia is 14-11-1 against the spread this season while Florida is 12-15-1 ATS. These two have no recent meetings to go off of, but Virginia has failed to covered in its last three games while Florida is just 1-5 ATS in its last six.
