(TheSpread) – The South Region of March Madness features the top seed, Kentucky. Here is a look at the odds to win this year’s South Region title.

According to oddsmakers, the Wildcats are the favorite to win the South, as they have 4/7 odds to win. Other short odds to win are Duke (7/2), Baylor (5/1), and Wichita State (8/1).

The Wildcats are the top overall seed and No. 1 seed in the region. Kentucky went 32-2 this season and won the SEC regular season championship. Kentucky has reached the Final Four 14 times, the last of which came in 2011.

Duke is the No. 2 seed in this region. The Blue Devils are 27-6 on the season and they finished runner-up in the ACC regular season. Duke has reached the Final Four 15 times, the last of which came in 2010.

Baylor is the No. 3 seed. The Bears were 27-7 overall this season out of the Big 12. Baylor has made the Final Four once, back in 1950.

Wichita State is the No. 5 seed in this region. They were 27-5 on the season and winners of the Missouri Valley Conference regular season title. The Shockers have made the Final Four one time, back in 1965.
