ATLANTA, GA (TheSpread) – The 2012 ACC Tournament looks to be a two-horse race. Here is a look at the odds for each team to win this year’s tournament.

This 12 team tournament will be contested over four days, starting on Thursday and running through Sunday. The Top 4 seeds have a bye into Friday’s quarterfinals. All games will be played from the Phillips Arena in Atlanta.

According to oddsmakers, North Carolina is the favorite to win this tournament with 2/3 odds to win. Other short odds to win are Duke (7/4), Florida State (7/1), and Virginia (8/1).

North Carolina is the No. 1 seed in the tournament after winning the regular season title with a 14-2 ACC record and 27-4 overall record. The Tar Heels have won 17 ACC Tournaments in program history, the last of which came in 2008.

Duke is the No. 2 seed in this tournament. The Blue Devils were 26-5 overall this season and 13-3 in conference play. The Blue Devils own 19 tournament titles, most of any school in the ACC. They have won the last three ACC Tournaments.

Florida State will be the No. 3 seed this week. The Seminoles were 21-9 overall this season and 12-4 in the ACC. The Seminoles have never won the ACC Tournament.

Virginia is the No. 4 seed in the tournament. The Cavaliers were 20-11 overall and 9-7 in conference play. Virginia has only won the ACC Tournament one time, back in 1976.
