DRIVE4COPD 300 Odds
DAYTONA BEACH, FL (TheSpread) – The 2012 NASCAR Nationwide Series gets its season started on Saturday with the DRIVE4COPD 300 from Daytona International Speedway.
This race usually features a stacked field with a number of Sprint Cup drivers competing. Oddsmakers have Tony Stewart as the favorite to win this race with odds of 7/2 while other short odds to win are Kyle Busch (9/2) and Dale Earnhardt Jr. (11/2).
Stewart has won this race the last four years and in six of the last seven years. Stewart owns 10 Nationwide Series wins in 56 career starts. He has won two of the last three races he has competed in.
Busch, a former Nationwide champion, owns 51 wins in the series through 222 races. Busch has won at least eight races over the last four years, as he races a heavy Nationwide schedule. His average finish the last two years has been 5.2 or better.
Dale Jr. won this race from 2002-04. Earnhardt Jr. has 10 career wins through 47 Nationwide races. But, he owns just one win over his last 27 races in the series.
