The featured game of the night has the San Jose Sharks playing host to the Chicago Blackhawks at 10:30PM ET (View Matchup). Oddsmakers have the Sharks as the favorite, giving them a money line of -134 while the Blackhawks have odds of +124 to win. The over/under for goals scored in the game has been set at 5.5. San Jose is 29-16-6 on the season and 17-9-2 at home while the Blackhawks are 29-18-7 overall and 10-12-3 on the road. Chicago has won the last two and three of the last four against San Jose. The last three games have been decided by one goal.

Another featured game on Friday has the Colorado Avalanche hosting the Carolina Hurricanes at 9PM ET (View Matchup). Oddsmakers have the Avs as a favorite at home, giving them a money line of -136 to win while the Hurricanes have odds of +126 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at 5.5. Colorado is 27-25-3 on the year and 15-13-1 at home while Carolina is 20-25-10 overall and 6-13-7 on the road. Carolina has won three of the last four games in this series and the last three games between these two have been decided by one goal.
