Gordon vs. Stewart Odds
LONG POND, PA (TheSpread) – Despite slowing down in their success over the years, Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart are always threats to win, including in Sunday’s Good Sam RV Insurance 500.
According to oddsmakers Gordon is favored to finish ahead of Stewart in Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup race from Pocono Raceway. Gordon has odds of -140 to beat Stewart, who has a money line of +100.
Neither driver had much success in qualifying, as Stewart qualified 28th while Jeff Gordon will start 31st. For the season, Gordon sits in seventh place in the point standings. He has two wins and seven top 5’s on the year, but also has two DNF’s. Stewart is in ninth place. He is winless on the year with just two top 5’s.
At Pocono, Gordon has five wins and 17 top 5’s in 37 races. His average finish at the track is 10.3 while his driver rating is 101.3. Stewart owns two wins and nine top 5’s at Pocono in 25 races. Stewart’s average finish at the track is 11.9 while his driver rating is 100.7.
