Top Gear 300 Odds
CONCORD, NC (TheSpread) – The 2011 NASCAR Nationwide Series heads to Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday for the running of the Top Gear 300.
According to oddsmakers at online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com, Kyle Busch is once again the favorite to win this race with 9/5 odds. Other short odds to win are Carl Edwards (3/1), Joey Logano (6/1), and Kevin Harvick (6/1).
Busch has won this event four times, including last year’s race. Busch has won five of the 10 Nationwide races he has competed in this year. He also has a pair of runner-up finishes on the year.
Edwards won this event in 2006 and he has three wins in 12 Nationwide races this year. Edwards has only not finished in the top 10 in four events this season.
Logano has eight career Nationwide victories in 74 starts. He is winless this year in eight races. Logano does have four top 5’s on the year and an average finish of 6.6.
Harvick has competed in five Nationwide races this year. He is winless with two top 5’s and three top 10;s. His average finish on the season is 15.8 and his best is third.
