West Virginia has achieved everything in college basketball except winning a national championship. Can the Mountaineers find a way to win the 2010 Final Four?

WVU is 31-6 on the year after its tournament run. The Mountaineers have won their last 10 games with the last four coming by at least seven points.

Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have given West Virginia 21/10 odds to win the Final Four. The Mountaineers have the second shortest odds to win of the four team competing.

West Virginia put up its biggest win of the tournament last Saturday, defeating Kentucky 73-66. The Mountaineers struggled shooting, but hit 10 3-pointers in the game to get the win.

West Virginia averages 72.8 points per-game on offense while giving up 63.1 points per-game. The Mountaineers shoot 43 percent from the field, 33.6 percent from 3-point land, and 70 percent from the free throw line. WVU averages 38.9 rebounds per-game while committing just 11.9 turnovers per-game and forcing 13.6 turnovers.

The Mountaineers have been led this season by Da’Sean Butler, who posts 17.4 points and 6.3 rebounds per-game. Kevin Jones adds 13.7 points and 7.2 rebounds per-game while Devin Ebanks adds 12 points and 8.2 rebounds per-game. In the win over Kentucky, Joe Mazzulla stepped up, posting 17 points and three assists.

The 2010 Final Four will take place from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. The semifinals will take place on Saturday while the national championship game will take place on Monday night.
