The Sweet Sixteen features a variety of different teams from different conferences and different seedings. Oddsmakers from online sports book SPORTSBETTING.com have given odds of 2/1 that the lowest seeded team to reach the Final Four will be a No. 2 seed.

Currently three No. 2 seeds remain, but 10 of the 16 remaining teams are not a No. 1 or a No. 2 seed. In two instance, at least one seed of 3 or higher is set to make the Elite Eight as No. 5 Michigan State faces No. 9 Northern Iowa in the regional semifinal in the Midwest and No. 3 Baylor meets No. 10 St. Mary’s in a regional semifinal in the South.

No. 1 seeds are still favored to win the overall national championship as they have been given 5/9 odds to win the title. Three of the four No. 1 seeds are still standing and Kentucky and Syracuse have made short work of their opposition thus far. No. 5 seeds have been given 14/1 odds as two No. 5’s are still active with Michigan State and Xavier.

Kentucky’s John Wall has been favored to win the Tournament’s Most Outstanding Player Award with 3/1 odds. Wall has scored 31 points with 18 assists in the two Kentucky wins. He is shooting 10-for-16 from the field in the two games and is also 6-for-10 from 3-point land and 5-of-8 from the free throw line. Ohio State’s Evan Turner and Syracuse’s Wes Johnson have been given 6/1 odds to win the award as well.
