Purdue-Texas A&M Pick

The Purdue Boilermakers look to take an injury plagued team to the Sweet Sixteen when they face Texas A&M Sunday at 5PM ET.

Bet March Madness
These two teams will battle it out in the South Region with their game taking place at the Spokane Arena in Spokane, Washington. Purdue is the No. 4 seed and Texas A&M is the No. 5 seed.
Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL have made Texas A&M 2.5-point favorites over Purdue on Sunday night. The over/under for the game has been set at 126.

Purdue is seeking its ninth Sweet Sixteen appearance in school history and second in two years. The Boilermakers have injury problems, being without one of their top scorers in Robbie Hummel. That loss didn’t hurt Purdue in a 72-64 win over No. 13

Siena
on Friday. Purdue held

Siena
to 32 percent shooting on defense while dishing out 21 assists to get the win. JaJuan Johnson had 23 points and 15 rebounds in the win while E’Twaun Moore had 12 points and six rebounds and Lewis Jackson had eight points with nine assists.

Texas A&M has appeared in just two Sweet Sixteens in school history with the last coming in 2007. The Aggies defeated No. 12

Utah
State
on Friday 69-53 to reach the second round. The Aggies controlled the game from the start, shooting 49 percent from the floor while holding

Utah
State
to 38 percent shooting. Khris Middleton had 19 points to lead A&M while David Loubeau had 14 points and six rebounds.

Oddsmakers have A&M favored for a reason. They also had
Washington favored over New

Mexico
and the Huskies dominated in that game despite being the lesser seed. We trust that the oddsmakers know what they are doing with this game as Purdue is without one of its top players. Look for the Aggies to slowly take Purdue down and get the win by more than two in a high scoring game.
