Missouri is appearing in the tournament for the second season in a row and making its 24th appearance in school history. The Tigers are 22-10 overall and 10-6 in the Big 12 Conference. The Tigers are scoring 77.6 points per-game, which ranks 26th in the NCAA. Missouri allows 65.8 points per-game, which ranks 101st in the country. The Tigers have been led this season by Kim English, who scores 13.9 points per-game. Laurence Bowers and Marcus Denmon each post over 10 points per-game for the Tigers as well.
This is a toss up game as both programs have had mediocre seasons in tough conferences. Neither is considered a tournament power, but both can play with anyone when they put it all together. Clemson hasn’t won a tournament game under Oliver Purnell, while the Tigers picked up a win last year. We like Missouri with the point and a half and the under in this game.
