The 12-team field is set for the 2010 Colonial Athletic Association Tournament and Old Dominion is favored to win the tournament championship.

The 2010 CAA Tournament will take place from the Richmond Coliseum in
Oddsmakers from online sports book SPORTSBETTING.com have made Old Dominion a 9/5 favorite to win the CAA Tournament. Other short odds to win are Northeastern (3/1), VCU (4/1), William & Mary (6/1), and George Mason (6/1).
Old Dominion has won the CAA Tournament title four times, with the last coming in 2005. The Monarchs are 23-8 on the season and 15-3 in the CAA, which makes them regular season champions. Old Dominion holds a non-conference win over
Northeastern has yet to win the CAA Tournament title. The Huskies are 19-11 on the season and 14-4 in the conference, earning the No. 2 seed. Conference losses this year come against Drexel, William &
Virginia Commenwealth has won four CAA tournament titles, including two of the last three in 2009 and 2007. The Rams are 20-8 on the season and 11-7 in conference, making them the fifth seed in the tournament. The Rams have lost three of their last six games of the season.
William & Mary has yet to win the CAA Tournament, but lost in the finals in 2008. This year, the Tribe is 20-9 overall and 12-6 in the CAA, making them the third seed. The Tribe have lost two of their last three games to end the regular season.
George Mason has won four CAA Tournament titles, including the 2008 title. In 2006, The Patriots made a surprising run to the Final Four as an 11 seed. This year, George Mason is 17-13 overall and 12-6 in the CAA, giving it the fourth seed in the tournament. The Patriots ended their season by losing six of their last eight games.
