We put together a viewing guide for the Super Bowl XLIII, including the start time of the game, as well as TV viewing information and game facts. Date: February 1st, 2009 Location: Raymond James Stadium, Tampa, Florida Pre-game Coverage: 4:00pm eastern NBC, Fox, ESPN Super Bowl XLIII Kick-Off: 6:18pm eastern on NBC and NBC HD Announcers: Al Michaels (play-by-play), John Madden (color), Andrea Kremer (sideline reporters) National Anthem: Jennifer Hudson Super Bowl XLIII Half Time Show: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band Radio Coverage: Westwood One Current Super Bowl XLIII Point Spread: Pittsburgh Steelers -7 Stadium Information: Raymond James Stadium is the home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This will be the second time the Super Bowl will be held at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. However, Tampa Stadium did host the Super Bowl twice, in 1984 and 1991, respectively. Raymond James was opened September 20, 1998 when the Bucs beat the Chicago Bears, 27-15 and stadium also hosts Tampa Bay Mutiny MLS soccer games, University of South Florida home games, the Outback Bowl and the ACC Championship Game. Raymond James’ capacity is 65,857, but it’s expandable to 75,000 and the playing surface is natural grass.
