Biffle wins at Texas

FORT WORTH, TX (TheSpread) – Greg Biffle continued his great start to the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series with a win in the Samsung Mobile 500 on Saturday night.

Biffle coasted to the win late after passing Jimmie Johnson in the late portion of the race. Johnson led the most laps of any driver, but came up shy of the winner’s circle.

According to oddsmakers, Greg Biffle had 12/1 odds to win Saturday’s race. That means a $100 wager on Biffle will pay out an additional $1,200.

Mark Martin came in third on Saturday while Jeff Gordon placed fourth to get back up the standings. Dale Earnhardt Jr. continued his steady racing, placing 10^th on the night.

Biffle now has a 19 point lead in the point standings over the likes of Earnhardt Jr. and Matt Kesneth. Johnson moved up two spots to eighth with his performance. He is 40 points behind Biffle.
