Dallas Cowboys Daily Fantasy Spin

Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs (knee), linebacker DeMarvion Overshown (knee), guard Cooper Beebe (concussion), safety Juanyeh Thomas (knee), cornerback Josh Butler (knee), and guard Zack Martin (ankle) will all sit out Sunday’s contest.

Dallas cornerback Jourdan Lewis (hamstring), linebacker Eric Kendricks (personal/shoulder), linebacker Buddy Johnson (illness), linebacker Nick Vigil (foot), and cornerback C.J. Goodwin (hamstring) are all officially listed as questionable for Sunday’s road clash with Carolina.

Carolina Panthers Daily Fantasy Spin

Panthers backup running back Raheem Blackshear (chest), linebacker Trevin Wallace (shoulder), and running back Jonathon Brooks (knee) will all sit out Sunday’s contest. Mike Boone will likely handle the backup running back duties with Blackshear and Brooks out of commission this weekend.

Carolina safety Nick Scott (hamstring), linebacker Jadeveon Clowney (knee), linebacker Josey Jewell (hamstring), and cornerback Jaycee Horn (groin) are all officially listed as questionable to play this weekend. Clowney, Jewell, and Horn are all listed as starters on the team’s unofficial depth chart. Scott is listed as the team’s backup strong safety.

Dallas is 4-8 ATS after a loss since the start of last season.

Dallas is 9-12 ATS in conference games since the beginning of last season.

The Cowboys are 7-8 ATS as the road team since the start of last season.

Carolina is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games overall.

Cowboys vs. Panthers Betting Prediction:

Carolina may have salvaged their 2024 season over the past 7 weeks. The Panthers aren’t going to make the playoffs, but they’ve noticeably improved as a team over the past 2 months. The key has been the re-emergence of quarterback Bryce Young. Young played poorly in the team’s first two games of the season, got benched, then was given the starting job back after starting QB Andy Dalton was injured in a car accident. Since coming back as the starter, Young has played much better.

Over the first four weeks of the season, Bryce Young had a touchdown-pass-to-interception ratio of 0-3. In the six weeks since, his TD-INT ratio is 7-3. Across Young’s first 4 appearances, he had 0 games where he threw for 190+ yards and a touchdown. In the six weeks since then, he’s thrown for 190+ yards and at least 1 touchdown 4 times. More importantly, the Panthers have been covering since Young was re-named the starter. Carolina is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games with 2 outright wins over that stretch. I like how Carolina is playing, so I’m going to lay the points with the Panthers at home in this one.
