The latest out of San Francisco is that there’s “overwhelming sentiment” that Harbaugh will not be back with the 49ers in 2015 according to report by CSN Bay Area. Per reporter Matt Maiocco, Harbaugh’s relationship with GM Trent Baalke is no longer tenable and that he has “alienated a lot of people inside the organization.” Maiocco believes that Harbaugh wants to remain in the NFL if/when he moves on from the team.
But that hasn’t stopped oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv installing Harbaugh as a 2/1 favorite to become the next head coach at Michigan, which is the former quarterback’s alma mater. The university recently fired Brady Hoke and need someone that will immediately restore the Wolverines as a contender in the Big Ten.
Meanwhile, LSU head coach Les Miles is 5/2 to become the next front man at Michigan while Tennessee coach Butch Jones and Oklahoma State’s Mike Gundy are both 7/2, respectively. Former Rutgers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano is also 9/2 to become the next head coach at Michigan.
