Michael Arace of the Columbus Dispatch reports Bobrovsky will miss at least a month due a groin injury suffered over the weekend. Bobrovsky had flown in his father from Siberia to watch the NHL All-Star event, only to suffer the injury to the right side of his groin. The goaltender was expected to play in net in the All-Star Game on Sunday evening.

“I wanted to play in front of my fans, with my teammates (Ryan Johansen and Foligno). It’s the first time (as an) All-Star for me. It was the first time for my city. It was so special, and I am so disappointed right now.”

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Blue Jackets are currently 100/1 long shots to win the 2015 Stanley Cup. The second half of the NHL season will start on Tuesday night.
